Our post on about HOW TO ABSORB THE CAMPAIGN MESSAGE TO YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY OR RELATED PERSON got a nice responds from friends and people who came across to our blog. They asked us to make another post on HOW TO ABSORB THE CAMPAIGN MESSAGE TO YOUR SELF AND OUR SELVES. To be honest it’s very personal and everyone has their own voice to stand on how they will absorb our campaign message to their selves. They can take on many options such as A) they will stop downloading an albums or songs on the internet, B) they will start on purchase a legal albums or songs from the bands, C) they will take both options A & B, and or D) they start their own ways on it.

On option D, where you can start whatever ways you want to. It’s all on you and you have no limits on it. Let’s take on us, I mean let’s say us would be me. As a normal human being I would say (as a blog writter) I will take options C & D. An option D, I will start on keeping in touch with iTunes (since they will cost you if you want some albums which mean the money will be sent to the singers or the bands which mean, you are helping to cut off the piracy act), and be Premium in 4Shared, and stop downloading in www.mp3boo.com. See? It is all my decision and my way and it is all on me because it’s personal. In option C) which I will take both options A & B. Purchasing a legal albums or songs from the bands or singers is more personal for me. It’s more when you’re helping someone. In this case, I help the musicians to have a ‘respected’ feeling, and ‘claimed’ feeling, which is nowadays it’s very rare, unless that musicians was on trend line. In local / indie band system (I made the system), when you’ve gathered your friends to playing music as a band, or duo, or it’s just you, you will create your ways to promote your thing. MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, Blog, Path, Sound Cloud, Instagram or maybe Four Square in case you want people know where your band headquarter is. Anything goes, these days anything made so easily and so.. free. Once you’ve promoted your band, you will be expecting some job. In Semarang, we call it as gig. Gigs is where you will play your music, managed by the rundown, bad news and good news is you have to pay to make some collectivity operation. You will uploaded your songs to MySpace and 4Shared with a little tiny hope your band will listened by people. You will take some ‘pay off’ jobs, like playing in the festival, or café, coffee shop, street festival music, another gigs, school prom, whatever you name it. It was your first opened cage.
Time passes you will make some other music by launch an EP or mini album. Which is in this phase you will be expecting some money, since making an EP or mini album was not ‘cheap’ after all. You’ve throwed your very first own EP / mini album / album launch party. You proud with it. That was the time you will be standing to tag the price of your music. Instead of downloading your songs thru MySpace or 4Shared. But still, there’s a price you’ve tagged. Get it what I’m saying guys?

Since we only giving you four options, let’s talk about option A) Option A give you ‘you will stop downloading an albums or songs on the internet’. It’s almost impossible to cutting off your download habbit since it’s 2 F (free and fast). I was the download junkie until I knew a few reason to not acting an illegal download. Since we’re making this campaign, we’re all began to stop any illegal download in the internet. It was a whole new habbit for us and we love it. It’s a positive habbit and we’ve changed our behaviour already. It was true believe me.

Our 5 reasons (strong) to stop illegal download [piracy act] :
1. It will be sticking on you once you did it, you’ll be addicted on it

2. It’s not healthy, it’s stealing from what you shouldn’t take

3. It’s stupid, unwisely, rough, crime, bad, violence thing (belive us on it)

4. Musicians might be going ‘out of business’ (they didn’t earn money, how dare we do that!)

5. You’ll be one of the internet crime, you’re breaking the laws

Option B). Will you do that? B) they will start on purchase a legal albums or songs from the bands. Let’s see. This option is pretty much same as option A). We mentioned to our friends in the middle of our brainstorming few days ago we discussed about how to build self-awareness to influence them move on to get some original albums. It’s even availabel in distro, certain music store, boutiques, salon & coffee shops. Which mean you can get it easily, I believe most of you are already be bff with the internet, then you can simply order your favorite band’s album. I recently was on waiting list to The S.I.G.I.T album. You can possibly wait for it. The internet has made our world easier and smarter. You have no other excuses to say ‘if’ and say ‘it’s just...’ or shout your mouth up. What about option D) they start their own ways on it. Like what I did, I create my own ways. So I bet you can do it too. Whatever you want to, as long as your voice is stay in your limit line, as long as you won’t crawling back to repeat your bad act -> download songs or albums on the internet.
I guess why the failures seen in the first step because we don’t put our heart trully to do it. I challange you guys to stop piracy act starts with you, and let’s find out to stop piracy act together with Semarang Resik Pembajakan.
