WHY PEOPLE STOP VISITING MUSIC STORES

(KENAPA ORANG BERHENTI MENGUNJUNGI TOKO MUSIK)

Someone recently asked us, explain me why people stop visiting music store. Why? Let’s see. Let us ask you a question: do you remember when the last time you visit your local music store?. It’s been years until you can’t remember one of those. Maybe it’s all because you’ve found another more 2 F (fast & free) way. Which is we eventually called... the internet. Internet is where the magic happens. Where you can find one-clicked unlimited access, where you can get free stuff whatever you want, where the crime starts: piracy. As a youth generation, as a teenager, as a modern people, we really want to following the trends line. In this case, we name it as a download trends. People are racing to download newest songs and albums. More songs is better, they think so. So were we. We used to one of those people, we admit it. Time passes, and people had downloading more and alot of more numbers every single day.
The music store provides us cassette (we love it so much! And you can see why at our campaign logo), CD and vinyl (it’s getting ‘rare’ by now and we also love it). Which it will cost us by the price tag. We think they’re worth it as our reward to them making music for us. Have you ever think about it? Have you ever hear there’s a phrase ‘when word is gone, music will take over on duty’. We needs music, you needs music, human being needs music. Even animals needs music too. For us, music is masterpiece. Timeless and priceless. Musicians were the magicians behind the music.
Let us ask you one more question. If you are one of that musicians (I guess one of you already are), you made song, you tell people about your song, and you sell your song. What are you hoping? YES! You expect people will purchase your song, your music, your masterpiece. Let’s open our hearts. Open your ear, open your mind, open your heart, open your eyes. After you’re done open your senses. Take a stand by act! Don’t just fall silent. One voice will never enough. Let’s talk about music store, the place where you can find a million music pieces. Music store is on of the bridge between us and the musicians
Btw, I still owned about 30 cassette in my room I put that records on sometimes and I still owned an old radio since 1993 (my mum told me). Listening music thru cassette I have a vintage feeling and a happy feeling when people still respected cassette so much a few years ago. It’s personal because I can’t explain what I felt thru words.
And when CDs era began, people start listening thru a ‘discman’. It’s very popular these times. I used one of them when I asked my parents to got me discman and they bought me Looney Toons discman, which I still kept it until now. When we’re back the 80’s to 90’s era (if you’re around 20) we can see people had done something really great to another. The internet era was beginning and there was only certain people use it, wisely & nicely. People had stopped visiting music stores because there’s a cheaper and free way. People love free stuff. So were we, we love free stuff. The internet pretty much had it all. You can browse anything you want in Google & Yahoo! for free. Who doesn’t love free stuff? Everybody does. We can’t blame to anyone on this. We only can blame our selves. We’ve crossed the line. Here’s we made a reason why you should revisit or go to your local music store :
